Киев: An international IT company searches Mechanical Product Development & Life Cycle Engineer, who will have a chance to participate in the program "Blue card of EU" (with family). LOCATION: Europe, Netherlands REQUIRED SKILLS: Background in Mechanical / Bio-mechanical engineering at a high qualitative level; A proven track record and experience (at least of 3 years) in development, realization and aftercare of mass manufactured products; Experience in one or more relevant fields of competency for consumer products, such as mechanics, plastics (polymers), rubber materials, etc. Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or mechatronics (in : Werktuigbouwkunde, Fijnmechanica, Mechatronica); Experience in Product development (consumer products preferred, but toys/automotive/fast moving goods / packaging appreciated as well); Experienced in Pro-Engineer to make / update 3D models and 2D drawings; Capable to understand tolerances analysis and calculate tolerance chains; Aware of general design rules regarding plastic parts and DIN tolerances; Capable to define new BOM structures and/or to understand and update existing ones; Team player to interact with Architect and/or Lead designer and third parties; Experienced with concept design / development will be an advantage; Experience with OEM / ODM suppliers in ; Preferably you are familiar with Design for Six Sigma. Fluent in English (speaking/writing). YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES: You will be part of project teams and directly reporting to product architect and/or lead designer. Within this role you will be linked to our innovation area Personal Health Devices. You will optimize existing product concepts within cross-functional teams and/or existing technical product documentations by being a member of the technical project team You will define, create, update and maintain the technical product documentation including 3-D models and 2-D drawings, BOM structure, design history files of those products. You will proof, that any design changes meets the requirements by means of tolerance analysis, material selection, stress and deformation calculations, simulations etc. (with the support of the Architect / Lead Designer is needed).
