We are currently employing someone who can perform the following responsibilities: Directs visitors by maintaining employee and department directories; giving instructions. A friendly and professional individual at all times, be able to look after several things at once and always stay calm, sometimes under pressure. Receptionist need to have an ear to the ground and be aware of everything that’s going in an organisation, from knowing which important meetings will be taking place to co-ordinating deliveries and organising travel arrangements for staff. You'll also often be the first person that employees and potential clients see, so you're always representing the company. Expected to be incredibly organised and friendly, this role is so much more than picking up the phones. Maintains security by following procedures; monitoring logbook; issuing visitor badges. Maintains telecommunication system by following manufacturer's instructions for house phone and console operation. Maintains safe and clean reception area by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations. Maintains continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs. Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.
